A rest day in Stanley

We decided to have a day off & walked all around Stanley, the Nut & the beach. It was a good idea & we even managed to squeeze in an afternoon nap.

Setting off for a day on foot around Stanley.

 Near the boat harbour.

 The equarium & boat harbour.

An original historic building converted into accommodation, notice the bathtub in the top window.

A bumblebee on a flowering gum.

On the chairlift going up the Nut.

 From the chairlift halfway up.

The caravan park where we stayed in a cabin, very clean & tidy.

A zoom in from the top of the Nut on our car & cabin.

I think I put this in twice.

Some dude swimming out in the bay. He was the only one.

 View from the top.

The showgrounds. A lot of caravans stayed there.

Looking over the harbour from the Nut.

 Yvonne trying to smile.

Yvonne has given up trying to smile.

The pathway around the top of the Nut.

                                                           From the Nut.

An historic house on a nearby hill.

An Echidna we met on the path.

 What a cute face.

He was very inquisitive & came over to check me out.

 Info.

 Coming down the chair lift.

The tide was all the way in when we returned.

On our long afternoon beach walk. Yvonne collected quite a few shells.
